Covid-19 is back due to China’s most recent outbreak, COVID-19 is back and 10% of the world will become infected in the next 90 days.

Epidemiologists have sounded the alarm, warning that the coronavirus may cause millions of fatalities worldwide in the coming days. As a result, the viral infection is once again swiftly spreading throughout China.

Dr. Eric Feigl-Ding, an epidemiologist with Chinese ancestry who works in the US, stated on Twitter that approximately 60% of the Chinese population is anticipated to develop COVID-19 in the next 90 days, which equates to 10% of the world’s population.

⚠️THERMONUCLEAR BAD—Hospitals completely overwhelmed in China ever since restrictions dropped. Epidemiologist estimate >60% of 🇨🇳 & 10% of Earth’s population likely infected over next 90 days. Deaths likely in the millions—plural. This is just the start—🧵pic.twitter.com/VAEvF0ALg9

Since COVID-19’s doubling time is now measured in hours, Dr. Eric worried that the time it takes for the coronavirus to mutate in China may no longer be measured in days. If doubling occurs in less than a day, it is challenging to calculate disease’s potential to spread, because PCR tests cannot be run so quickly.

In China, fewer COVID-19 deaths are being reported, he continued. The steep increase in mortality has led to a large growth in funeral services, according to hospitals, funeral homes, and allied funeral industry chains in China.

Netizens are worried as speculations about Covid-19 being back as they fear travel restrictions, curfews, and fatalities.
