Facebook’s new features 2023
After WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger is one of the most popular messaging services in Pakistan. Moreover, according to the most recent PTA assessment, Facebook is really the second-most popular social network after YouTube.
End-to-end encryption (E2EE) is one of many new features being added to the well-known messaging software. Messenger is now having E2EE, which means that only you can access your messages, similar to WhatsApp and Instagram. Even Facebook won’t have access to them.
Now that E2EE is integrated into Meta, some of the functionality you are previously familiar with are being added back.
Following aare the Facebook’s new features 2023
- Group profile photos
You should be able to manage your group chats even more effectively thanks to group profile photographs.For instance, group profile photos now make it simple to distinguish distinct group conversations if you have several of them with similar names.
- Emoji reactions
You can now choose from the entire range of emojis in the completely customisable emoji reactions.
- Chat themes
Similar to Instagram’s DMs, chat themes enable you add unique backdrops to your chats with options for static and gradient text colour.
- Bubbles on Android
While using other apps, Bubbles for Android will allow you to have a small shortcut for your Messenger chats.No matter where you are, a circle with your friend’s profile image will float on your screen, allowing you to read and respond to that discussion.
- Active Status
Similar to WhatsApp and Instagram, Active Status allows you to check if someone is using the app right now or when they last used it. For privacy reasons, you can choose to disable this feature.
- Link previews
As the name implies, link previews allow you to glimpse the contents of a hyperlink without opening it.
In addition to all of their new features, Meta says that over the coming months, users should start seeing an additional layer of security on their chats.
