Microsoft Outlook and Teams down for many
There are thousands of people worldwide who are currently unable to access Microsoft services like Teams, Xbox Live, Outlook, and the Microsoft 365 package. Microsoft is working on a solution after recognising the problem. Recently, reports of accessibility problems with these services as well as others like Minecraft, Azure, GitHub, and the Microsoft Store started to show up on DownDetector, a platform for tracking service reliability.
Later, Microsoft added clarification, stating that they had determined the issue to be one of network settings and that they were “analysing the best mitigation technique to resolve issues without causing additional harm.”
But it happened more than an hour ago. According to the most recent update on Microsoft’s 365 Status page, a network change that was thought to be the root of the issue is presently being undone. As the rollback takes place, they are watching the service. When this update was posted, it had been a little over 40 minutes.
Hundreds of complaints are still being reported across Microsoft 365 as a whole in numerous areas, according to DownDetector as of right now. This covers services like Teams, Outlook, and a few more.
New entries have been added to the list of affected services on Microsoft’s Service Health Status page. There are as follows:
- Microsoft Teams
- Exchange Online
- Outlook
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Graph
- PowerBi
- M365 Admin Portal
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Defender
