15 hotels in Murree have been sealed due to complaints of overcharging from tourists. The public in the crisis have paid as much as 50 to 70 thousands per night to save their lives from historic high snowfall.

After the Murree tragedy, the Punjab government and district administration took action against the hotels which were making illegal profits from tourists.

According to officials, after the Murree tragedy a few days ago, the Punjab government and district administration have started sealing hotels, taking action against illegal profiteers.

So far, 15 hotels in Murree have been sealed due to complaints of overcharging from tourists. The public in the crisis have paid as much as 50 to 70 thousands per night to save their lives from historic high snowfall.

Complaints of overcharging from hotels were flooded on social media and Murree Control Room, against which the administration took stern action and sealed 15 different hotels on Abu Dhabi Road, Guldana Road, Upper Jhika Gali Road and Bank Road.
